The SNAP Award is awarded once every quarter to a staff member that goes above and beyond their expected duties. For the third quarter of 2021, the SNAP Award was awarded to Daniel Schaefer.
Daniel began working at Valley Community Services at the beginning of the year. He serves as a Direct Support Professional at the Leed facility.
Daniel was nominated by his Program Manager, Sutton Fuller. Daniel was nominated for this award because when an issue arose with an agency van, he went the extra mile and was able to fix it. Sutton said Daniel “saved the day” by ensuring the individuals could make it to their very important appointments.
Along with receiving the award, Daniel was also awarded a gift card.
