Bradley Moya-Mendez
Bradley began at Valley Community Services back in October 2021. He is the Program Manager for our newest CLA, Sunset, located in Butler County. Although he is new to Valley, Bradley has been working in the social services field for almost 30 years. Bradley says he is excited to open a brand new home and have the opportunity to build a new team.
Fun facts: Bradley’s father was born and raised in Peru. Bradley is a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan!
Brittney Palenchar
Brittney joined us in November 2021 as a Program Manager. She manages Forest CLA and Church CLA in the Southwest Region. Brittney has eight years of working in the field which includes five years of experience as a program manager. She is currently enrolled at Seton Hill University working to earn her Bachelor’s in Human Services with a minor in Criminal Justice.
Brittney says she is most excited to “help our individuals live as normal of a life as possible and suppress the stigmatism that surrounds them daily and overcome the odds placed against them by assisting them in achieving their personal goals.”
Brittney or “Bri” loves to have fun and laugh with her spouse, five year old son, seven year old step daughter, and two dogs: a Golden Retriever and a Siberian Husky. Brittney owns multiple Apple products, and says it’s become a guilty pleasure!
Cynthia Baxley
Cynthia joined Valley in December 2021 as a Program Specialist in the Northwest Region. She supervises Manor CLA, Morton CLA, and Railroad CLA. Cynthia earned her Bachelor’s in sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s in healthcare management from Colorado Technical University. She says she is most excited to get to know all the individuals and meet her co-workers.
In her spare time, Cynthia loves spending time with her grandson, Jace. She also enjoys many hobbies like crafts, reading, and listening to music.

Dawn Merson
Dawn was recently promoted to Program Manager of Gephart CLA and Thomas CLA. Dawn previously worked as the assistant program manager for these homes, and she was promoted as of November 2021. Dawn has been with Valley Community Services since 2019.
Dawn says she is most excited to “see the individuals we serve achieve their dreams and the simple pleasures of living everyday life with them! I get way more from them than I could ever possibly give back and for that I am truly grateful to be a part of the VCS team.”
Jason Brubaker
Jason joined Valley four years ago. He previously worked as the APM of Woodbury and Elton, and has since been promoted to Program Manager of Woodbury CLA and Greenwood CLA.
Jason says the work feels most rewarding when the individuals we serve feel cared for and appreciated. He says “I draw my excitement about my position from seeing those moments and trying my absolute hardest to make sure that all my people know we care about them.”
Krystal Flynn
In November, Krystal was promoted to Program Manager of Boyd and Kaiser. She has been with Valley since August 2020 and previously worked as a program lead.
Krystal says she values the time she spends and care she provides to the residents. She also looks forward to “expanding my knowledge tremendously in this field. I am pretty new to being in this field, and I’ve learned so much since I started here. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
